Poland, the western neighbor of Ukraine, is located almost in the center of Europe, at the crossroads between the East and the West, the South and the North. Winter resorts, seaside, salt mines, ancient churches, rich museums, impregnable castles with centuries-old history – everyone will find something for oneself here.
Folk group «Marynia» has been created in 1993 in the Cultural Centre in Wronki in order to develop traditional dances and music of Szamotuly area. With time, the repertoire has been expanded with dances of other regions of Poland. Nowadays «Marynia» presents folklore of more than 10 regions.
The performances of «Marynia» have already fascinated Poland, Serbia, Korea, and already in August it will visit the International Folklore Festival «Etnovyr» in Ukraine.
